Kleio for Windows

This is where you study your flashcards. Kleio shows you the question, and you press the blocked out answer to reveal it. This is also where you see the prompt, if any. Use the number buttons to tell Kleio how well you remembered this flashcard. Zero if you remembered it wrong or completely forgot it, five if you remembered the answer as if it were your own name, and so on. After you register your answer, Kleio will show you the next flashcard.
Kleio will also schedule the flashcard you just graded for some specific date in the future, if you memorized it. If you haven't memorized this flashcard yet, or if you forgot it, Kleio will put the flashcard in the "not memorized" category. Kleio shows flashcards from this category when there are no flashcards scheduled for the current day left to show.
Click on the Modes button to reveal the different available modes.
This is the cram mode. There's no scheduling going on here, its just going through all the flashcards in your enabled decks. Unless you change the setting, cram mode draws 20 flashcards at a time into a batch, and shows you flashcards only from that batch. After you get a flashcard right twice in a row, Kleio will remove it from the batch. When the batch gets low on flashcards, Kleio will refill it from the enabled decks in your library. Cram mode will keep going this way until you go through your entire library.
You can change the size of the batches that Kleio uses. You can also change the number of times that you have to get a card correct before its removed from the batch. Just click on the wrench icon to configure the cram mode.
You can use cram mode to look at all your cards backwards. The question becomes the answer, and vice versa. Just click on the third cram mode button.
This is your library. If you're also using a mobile version of Kleio, this is how you can make your flashcards, and then you can study them on your phone.
Your decks are on top, and clicking on a deck's icon will reveal various options for that deck, including sharing. When you select a deck, Kleio shows you its corresponding flashcards. Notice that formatting is simple and painless.
You can import data from the StudyStack website right into your Kleio library.
You can also import flashcards from CSV files, or paste CSV data right in.

Get started here. Take a look at your schedule, sync, or start studying.
A breakdown of your library by memorization status.
This is the question. The scheduled progress bar shows the number of flashcards scheduled for today, or past due. After you get through those, Kleio will start showing you flashcards that you haven't learned yet, if any. Flick to the right or press the white arrow to see the answer.
The answer is to the right of the question, and you can flick back and forth.
To see the next flashcard, register an answer for this one. Zero or one if you couldn't remember the answer or got it wrong, and two through five if you remembered. The higher your answer, the more time will pass until you see this flashcard again.
This is the cram mode. Use the brain/forklift icon in the application bar to switch modes. The cram mode will show you all the flashcards in your active decks, in batches of 20. Getting a flashcard correct twice will remove it from the current batch.
You can change zoom settings from the application bar. Set a fixed text size, or use auto zoom to have Kleio size your flashcards to fit the screen. You can also pinch-to-zoom right on the flashcard.
You can edit your library right on your phone. Tap a deck to see the flashcards that it contains and to edit it. Activate selection in the application bar to take decks in and out of rotation.

When you tap on a deck, you can see all the flashcards that it contains. Tap a flashcard to edit, activate selection to delete. Tap the plus in the application bar to add a new flashcard.
To find a flashcard quickly, tap one of the headings, and then tap the heading for the flashcard you're looking for. Flashcards are sorted alphabetically, by their questions.
Edit a flashcard. Pressing save+new allows you to add another flashcard after you're done editing. If you're a paid user, you can use the translate function from the application bar to translate the question to any other language. Translation is powered by Google Translate.
